Page unresponsive while login/signup

Describe the bug
Problem while signing up & login

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

1. Go to the signup/login page
2. Click on register/login
3. Fill details
4. Unresponsive

Expected behaviour
A user is supposed to smoothly log in/sign-up.

There seems to be a problem with the backend since there is an Axios error popping up in the console.

Hey Aaryan!

Good to see you here. Thanks for the bug report. We hosted the backend locally, to save costs and as you might have guessed, it is no more running locally. I'll migrate it to some hosted server. Have to make some changes before that. I will keep you posted!

I think it would be a good idea to keep it live for people to try it out. Maybe I'll get it working over this weekend (not making any promises here) and you can try it out and help with stuff that you feel should be improved?
