Talked a little on Discord and I need to add those comments.
This was by design... Hoges wanted let the M6 thread into the plastic to make sur it's a tight fit so it dosent introduce backlash.
M5 are actually loose, since 5.8 it's "loose fit", "tight fit" would be 5.3.. or 5.5 for "normal" fit.
Hole should be around 6.4 for M6 "tight fit".
If you thread the M6 into the plastic, it won't "pull" the part, so it might not touch the tubing correctly.
I feel like you need a "loose fit" so you can align thing correctly, but that could introcude backlash... so maybe we should just add a layer of double side tape on the tubing, so when it's all tighted down, it will stick there and won't be able to move?
I will try with M5 first, since I do have them and I can upgrade to M6 later if needed.
Pretty sure this is actually working as designed with M6? Has anyone commenting here actually built this section of the machine?
When you first screw in the M6 screws they tap a thread into that part, and then they're very tight fitting. There is some play to correctly align the mount block, but when screwed down tightly it's very solid.

Hole on BK/BF12 are 5.8mm (M5 "loose fit"), but the BOM recommand to use M6x30.
We sould either update the BOM to M5 or modifity the part to have a 6.6~6.8mm hole.
I will use M5x35mm on mine.
