I have the same issue. The application works fine, but the configuration dialogue shows this error message.

App: 2.1.6 downloaded from App Store
OS: Monterey 12.7.6
HW: MacBook Pro 11,1 (13", Late 2013)

Should be fixed. But is blocked by #2638
