Hi again mate,

For some albums Year returns 0. Also when browsing these albums Torshify client does not show any tracks for them. However the official client shows everything fine.

Take for example playlist http://open.spotify.com/user/michielveenstra/playlist/2CSE36R2YC8NhttYoQKTfM

The Beach Boys album "Pet Sounds" behaves like this, also other albums from the start of the playlist.

Any idea what might be the problem?

All those tracks which have year 0 etc, are marked as being a local track as far as I can see. Exactly why this is I'm not sure.
I'll check some more, see if anything comes up

I'm sorry but I can't seem to figure it out. Either there's something blatant that I'm overlooking, or there's a bug/missing feature in libspotify that prevents the metadata to be loaded correctly.

Thanks for looking into it anyway. Year being 0 isn't that critical but not able to get track listing for these albums can be a problem..

For files that is marked as local and year is 0, you can browse the artist, and get the album etc that way. Not exactly ideal but it could work.

Unfortunately it seems that browsing the artist doesn't do as a workaround since it behaves similar than the problematic albums: no albums are found for for the artist just like no tracks are found for the problematic albums.

Do a Session.Search(artist,...) and try that way. Again, far from good but better than nothing

Session.Search() indeed works, but I did it for albums. Strange enough, the search returns also some albums with Year 0 (Together Alone, Blood, End Times, Continuum etc. in the example playlist)
