Use Case #5 :Creator assertions of authorship & distribution rights

Creators, for example, writers, photographers, design artists, filmmakers, 3D model makers for metaverses, have needs to assert that their creative work is authentic and they are the true authors.

This use case should be aligned with current work going on in the C2PA-affiliate working group on the same issue. That group covers the creator’s identity and assertions.

Once such content assets are created, they must be distributed to reach downstream creators/editors, and eventually consumers. In each of these distribution steps, a trustworthy communication channel is required, and a type of consent/agreement made for the distribution.
