Use ReactLeafletSearchComponent outside Map component

Hi, currently I'm using the search component inside the map.

I intent to use all the functionality that the search box provides, but I need the box to be outside the map and to change the CSS.
Is it possible to have the search component outside the map, change its css and still have the functionality?
I'm very new to ReactJS.
