Detailed description

Here is a post I made in Spanish. It is correctly marked with language ES (I can see ES if I tap it). I do not get a "translate" offer in the menu.

Screenshot

I tried opening it in my other (test) copy of installed Tusky, where I am logged in on a different account and it DID show the translate offer.

Screenshot

It seems like the translate offer is only present for other people's posts.

This makes sense and may have been an intentional decision, however it is inconvenient for me because I am very bad at non-English languages. So to me, the translate button is a useful check as to whether or not I wrote good Spanish or not.

Debug information

I saw the behavior in 26.1 on Android 13. My screenshot in the "test" app was taken in f89ea2b.

The above post initially contained an incorrect description of what was happening.
