We need to re-ingest IEM coverages, especially temp and preicp, where the shapefile mask is too tight and excludes data for coastal locations (XREF ua-snap/northern-climate-reports#400 (comment)) to include more data.

Steps

  • Generate a masking specific buffered polygon for the IEM domain (XREF Create buffered IEM mask for data cropping / masking geospatial-vector-veracity#97)
  • Rerun the following pre-processing notebooks with this new polygon shapefile
  • iem/tas_pr_2km/preprocess.ipynb
  • iem/tas_pr_2km/preprocess_deltas.ipynb
  • iem/tas_pr_2km/preprocess_historical.ipynb
  • Re-ingest the following coverages
    • First on Apollo
      • iem_ar5_2km_taspr_seasonal
      • iem_ar5_cruts31_temp_precip_wms
      • iem_cru_2km_taspr_seasonal_baseline_stats
      • iem_cru_ar5_deltas_2km_taspr_seasonal
    • Verify whether or not we now have data for coastal locations, e.g., Hoonah
    • Ingest on Zeus
      • iem_ar5_2km_taspr_seasonal
      • iem_ar5_cruts31_temp_precip_wms
      • iem_cru_2km_taspr_seasonal_baseline_stats
      • iem_cru_ar5_deltas_2km_taspr_seasona
