We really appreciate your patience while we wait for our team to have a look at this but we wanted to let you know that we see this and share with you the plan for what comes next.
We wish we could work with everyone directly and assess your issue immediately but we're in the fortunate position of having lots of contributions to work with and only a few humans who are able to do it. We are making progress though and in the meantime, we will keep you in the loop and let you know when we have any questions. Thanks, from your friendly Umbraco GitHub bot 🤖 🙂 |
Thanks @mjpraxis , I was able to reproduce it on v15.2.0-rc, (15.3.0-rc.preview.68 in source code) |

Bug summary
The list of allowed elements in block grid area has empty names for the elements.
Specifics
No response
Steps to reproduce
Create 3 Element Types
Create a BlockGrid data type
Add the 3 elements to the "Blocks" list
Edit one of these blocks
Add an area and add the other two as "specifiedAllowance".
Save everything.
Edit the datatype
And navigate to edit of the area and the list of "specifiedAllowance".
It is now impossible to see what elements is allowed - workaround is to click the dropdown. The selected element is selected. BUT why not show that in the list of elements.
Expected result / actual result
Expected almost somthing like this - names of the allowed elements should be visible
