[pix_film] will advance one frame in each render cycle.
so if you are running ´[gemwin]` at 20fps (which is the default for historical reasons), and your footage is recorded at 120fps, itwill be played back at 1/6th of the original speed.
so you need to adjust the playback speed (auto actually takes a relative speed, not just a boolean)
[pix_film] says it loaded the file at 60fps. I'm not sure it's just frame rate that's the issue, there are also allot of visual distortions and artifacts. The video plays smooth with ffplay. I'm not sure how to adjust playback speed as you mention. Could you provide an example patch? Is there any other video plugin I could try with Gem? Or maybe it's something with my setup?

I'm on NixOS, using the latest Gem version compiled from master. I have ffmpeg as the film loading plugin for pix_film.
I'm trying to follow this tutorial:

Playback speed is very slow though. Any idea why that is or how I could fix it?
