new message indicator when chat is minimised

today i noticed that something has changed with the new message indicator when the chat is minimised.

it used to be that a small red number would appear to alert you to the number of new chat inputs that you haven't see when the window is minimised. this was good as it was quite visible but not distracting.

now, i'm seeing a red bar with a white number on it, very small, and if the reaction emojis are exposed then they cover this number completely. if the chat is in dark mode, the number is white & also not very visible.

i haven't checked the player chat, will do that tomorrow and add a note here.
& i've only looked at it in firefox.
