recently we ran into a problem with emails not sending from the Email Notification interface in all of the instances. this was due to the upstage.live mailbox at Gandi needing to be upgraded, so i did that yesterday. i then tested and emails sent successfully from usptage.live and the QMU instance. however dev-app failed, with the error message:

'NoneType' object is not subscriptable

interestingly, when it failed on upstage.live i got the error message "(535, '5.7.8 Error: authentication failed: UGFzc3dvcmQ6')" and when it failed on qmu and dev-app i got the "'NoneType' object is not subscriptable" error. after upgrading the upstage.live mailbox, i successfully sent emails from upstage.live and qmu, but i'm still getting the error on dev-app. so i'm labelling this as a bug.

just tried this again & still getting the "'NoneType' object is not subscriptable" error.

nope, still got "'NoneType' object is not subscriptable"
i'm using Brave on Linux, & tried sending to myself (two email addresses that i have as accounts on dev-app) as BCC.
