Does not work on mobile

Broken on Safari iOS, Chrome iOS and Firefox android. Works on desktop browsers and Chrome Android. I think the crux of the issue is that in the browsers where it doesn't work user interaction is required to open in an external application. On chrome android no popup click is needed and it works fine. Let me know if I need to provide you console logs or other debug info.
