line spacing 1.5

Is it possible to set the line spacing to 1.5?
And excuse my English, but I'm German and translate with Google.

For manuscript output, yes. There's a setting for line spacing.

For the editor, no it isn't and there isn't anything I can do about it either. See issue #654.

TLDR: it's a known Qt issue, see QTBUG-51891.

Any free text editor can do that. Why not NovelWriter?
And I don't mean printing, I mean working on the monitor in the editor.

1. Calm down. Being rude will not make this happen any faster.
2. As I already stated, it cannot be done in the editor due to an underlying issue in the framework. Both links in my response explain this.

Basically, the conclusion of the issue post is that while it is possible to set a line spacing other than the default, the setting is ignored by the Qt framework that actually draws the text on your screen. This I do not control. The QTBUG link contains information about the issue in the framework. Until they decide to change this, I cannot do anything in novelWriter.

When novelWriter updates to a newer version of the framework, I will try again to get this to work, but for the time being it won't be done.
