Sure, I can look into adding that. This sounds like a nice feature. Could you please create a feature request under Issues? You can copy/paste the text you used here. |

For me, one of the awesome features of NW is the ability to easily move various scenes around within and across chapters early on in the creative journey.
But once the structure of the project has settled down, it seems I continue to accidentally drag scenes around (converting them to notes, etc.) and cannot simply undo this (e.g., ctrl-Z). This, in turn, wreaks some havoc in trying to figure out how to fix what I've unintentionally done. It's happening so often that I've even taken to labeling my docs with identifying prefixes so I can figure out how to restore things.
Perhaps this is because, along with the keyboard, I typically use a pen tablet pointer (instead of a mouse), but I would assume I'd mess things up with a mouse, too? 🤔
QUESTION: Is there some way to disable the drag and drop function, or lock down the order of the various project docs in the left hand panel? This would be helpful once the general project structure has been determined (or at least has settled down) and the remaining task of actually writing the novel content itself takes center stage. 💭
