I have the same question, when I search for the answer here, then, I find your unsolved question.
I find the solution from other issues. You could modify the file themes/pure/assets/css/style.css and search for the key font-size, and there is one item locates at the body bracket. Its origin value is 14px, you could change its value to change the font size.
