Very simple WiFi interface for thermocouple thermometers like sold by Conrad (Voltcraft K204), Tecpel, Martel etc.
Uses UDP broadcasts for transmitting the measured temperature to the logging server.
Hardware:
- ESP8266 board with very simple connection to serial port of thermometer (2 resistor as voltage divider, wire, plug, ...)
Other SW:
- Arduino IDE
- SerialComInstruments (V0.9) for data logging
