kraken2 taxonomic assignation method by k-mers gives great results in analyzing shotgun metagenomics data. A great visualization tool for taxonomic assignation and phylogenies is graphlan. In this repository, I will describe the process of how to generate graphics with graphlan using the output from kraken2.
