Print

To set up the printer for your personal windows or mac laptops, please follow the following steps:

Windows

1. Open the control panel and select Devices and Printers
2. Select “Add a printer”
3. Select “The printer that I want isn’t listed”
4. Select “Add a printer using TCP/IP address or hostname
5. Enter the correct IP address for the printer you would like to use. The port name will be the same. (Refer to the table below)
6. If Windows does not automatically find the drivers, you must download the correct drivers. Click the “click here” link in the table below for the appropriate printer and OS.

Mac

1. Open System Preferences
2. Click “Printers & Scanners”
3. Click on the (+) icon in the bottom left corner of the window
4. Select the “IP” tab
5. Enter the appropriate IP Address in the Address field and use the default “Internet Printing Protocol - IPP” for the protocol.
6. Rename the computer in the “Name” field.
7. Select “Select Software…” in the “Use” field.
8. Select “Dell B5460dn Laser Printer” and click “OK”.
9. If you do not see that option, you will need to download and install the driver. (refer to the table below)
10. Click “Add”

Linux

Please submit a ticket to IT @ (http://links.asu.edu/SCAIIT/). We just found out that you should use 22.04 version or higher if you are using Ubuntu because there is no driver for other Ubuntu versions.
