I like the idea! I am just wondering if the "page metadata" at the bottom of the page, like contributors, affiliations, and now citation, could not benefit from a redesign so they look different from the content of the page. |
I like your idea too @bedroesb - it would also make it clear to content contributors that these sections are automatically generated and are separate (to a certain extent) from the content they are writing. |
Fixed the current date via javascript @bedroesb - ready for review. |
Works good on my side too! I am thinking of merging this one as is. And improving the looks in another PR together with Contributors and affiliations. And also maybe splitting coordinators. |
Automated generation of citation information (in the IEEE Web-based document or source format) for each page in a new "How to cite this page" section at the bottom, to look like the following:
A parameter is needed to control if the citation info is added to the page or not (and defaults to false for backward compatibility) and also so that citation does not show on other pages using the "page" layout. For example, in
_config.yaml
:We'd need to update the page metadata documenation at: https://rdmkit.elixir-europe.org/page_metadata too.
I did not apply any CSS styles to the added citation div.
