Software is a garden, it needs tending.

The following ongoing maintenance responsibilities are inherited by the product team. Tasks are split out by how often the task recurs. Tasks should be assigned an owner.

Check Touchpoints System Status Dashboard, provided by Uptrends.

Weekly

Monthly

Rolling 90 day window

  • De-activate users who haven't logged in within 3 months

Every 6 months

  • Rotate certs

Annually

  • Coordinate a review of all accounts with their respective agencies/departments

Ad-hoc

  • With each commit to main, document Release Notes
  • Respond to system issues/outages
  • De-activate users from Login.gov (Login.gov notifies Touchpoints via webhook)
  • De-activate users based on Separations Report from CISO
