Related Testbeds

The COSMOS project is aimed at design, development, and deployment of a city-scale advanced wireless testbed in order to support real-world experimentation on next-generation wireless technologies and applications.

A configurable experimental environment for large-scale edge to cloud research

Powder (the Platform for Open Wireless Data-driven Experimental Research) is a facility for experimenting on the future of wireless networking in a city-scale “living laboratory.”

Arena is an open-access wireless testing platform based on a grid of antennas mounted on the ceiling of a large office-space environment.

Federates a number of testbeds in Europe:

CloudLab provides researchers with control and visibility all the way down to the bare metal. The control software for CloudLab is open source, and is built on the foundation established for Emulab, GENI, and Apt.

EdgeNet is based on industry-standard Cloud software, using Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for deployment and node management.

GENI is an open infrastructure for at-scale networking and distributed systems research and education that spans the US.

ORBIT (Open-Access Research Testbed for Next-Generation Wireless Networks) is a two-tier wireless network emulator/field trial designed to achieve reproducible experimentation, while also supporting realistic evaluation of protocols and applications.
