To test this backend PR you need to checkout the #2874 frontend PR.
• The sorting functionality is implemented but requires further refinement.
• Current Behavior:
◦ The sorting changes are not immediately reflected.
◦ Even after refreshing, the updates are not visible.
◦ To see the changes, you must navigate to the "WBS" section and then return to the inventory page.
This is the part that needs to be resolved.
