Build Guide
Build guide for the Bumblebee:
Start with the probe core
Add the skids. These will deploy with the "G" key in flight.
Add the main Truss to the right side of the core. Holding alt (option on mac) while holding a part will disable surface attachment, making node snapping much easier. This will be very useful for many parts in this mod.
Add the full sized double-propellers to the nodes on the truss
Select the "Mirror Rotors" option in the right click menu of the rear propeller. This allows the props to all fit in the aeroshell, and mirrors the direction of rotation for Real Life quad-copter drone accuracy
Alt-click (option-click on mac) to pick up a copy of the right-side truss, and rotate it twice with Q or E, and attach to the left side node (hold alt to snap to node again)
Right click on the left truss, and set it to the left/red side option. The 'leading edge' of the truss beams should be high.
Attach the RTG to the back (rotate once with S and the nodes should snap), and the antenna to the front top node (alt for snap-to-node is very useful here)
The sensor package should attach to the top rear, with the front 'leg' positioned over the small hex ring in the texture
On the underside of the core, there's another hex ring in the texture
...which is for the seismometer
Then attach the decoupler to the top
Then the aeroshell to the decoupler
The main chute should snap to it's own specific node, (use alt to snap here too), as the chute/shell node pair rotated to be 90 degrees off of up/down.
Then the drogue chute should also snap to it's correct node inside the main chute (also another rotated node pair, so it shouldn't snap to the other node on top of the aeroshell)
You should be able to right click on the main chute by moving the mouse over the center of the cap, and the drogue by moving the mouse closer to the rim of the cap.
