EWItool Release 2.1
This release fixes two major issues with running EWItool under recent updates of Windows 10 (issues #16 & #17), and one important fix applicable to all platforms (issue #18) which could cause problems with MIDI communication.
All users of EWItool 2.0 should upgrade.
The only significant new feature is the ability to customise the look-and-feel with a user-supplied stylesheet (issue #8). This is documented in the Wiki.
Public Release of EWItool Version 2.00
I am pleased to release version 2.00 of EWItool into the wild :-)
This version runs on recent versions of Windows, OS X, and GNU/Linux so long as you have a recent Java runtime installed.
Please see https://github.com/SMerrony/EWItool/wiki/Using-EWItool before installing and using this release. OS X users please note especially prerequisite number 4.
Thanks to those who have tested; there have only been minor code tidyings since Beta 1.95 - but please upgrade anyway.
64-bit Windows users who do not already have Java installed could try the .msi installer file below which packages the required Java runtime with EWItool and installs it privately under your account in Windows without affecting other software or users.
Public Beta (1.95)
Here is what I hope will be the final public beta-test release of the new EWItool.
Since the previous beta there have been three significant changes:
- semitone control on patch editor fixed,
- fixes to patch numbering inconsistencies,
- introduction of drag-and-drop patch reordering on the Current Patch Set tab.
Please see https://github.com/SMerrony/EWItool2/wiki/Using-EWItool before installing and using this release. OS X users please note especially prerequisite number 4.
The jar file below should run on all modern versions of Windows, OS X and Linux providing that the prerequisites referred to above are met.
