Best Variables and Toy Simulation

Introduction

1. Reading of .lhe files.
2. Reconstruction of b bbar, ljj and WW invariant mass and cut of background events.
3. Best variables are detected using:

• Q factors

4. Selected variables are fitted by a polynomial function and then used for a Toy MC simulation to evaluate the number of SM signal events and its uncertainty.
5. Variables are ranked considering the relative uncertainty that they guarantee on signal events. Different luminosities are taken into account.
