Andune here. As of this writing in November 2014, I've been away from Bukkit/Minecraft for over six months. And that includes HomeSpawnPlus.

I took some time off as personal life got very busy and when I checked back in some months later, Bukkit was imploding on itself with the DMCA drama. I figured that was probably the end and went on my way.

Then at the end of October, an odd thing happened. Someone donated to say 'thanks' for HSP. It was just $2, but it let me know that at least someone was still using and getting value out of HSP. It was enough to motivate me to get my development environment running again and poke around with my previously stalled efforts with HSP 2.0, which seemed especially relevant given the likelihood of Sponge replacing Bukkit. (HSP 2.0 was written to be able to run a single code base on multiple server environments.)

While I'm not necessarily committed to any course of action, I've found some fun in coding again and if there is enough interest from the user community to help me test HSP 2.0 and report bugs, I might be motivated to finish it off and get you a new version of HSP. 2.0 would run on both Bukkit and Sponge, when it's ready, as well as make it easy to deliver new feature requests.

Since Bukkit seems to be in it's death throes, I will be doing future support right here from github using github issues. Assuming I get back into full swing of things, I will be working on migrating documentation from dev.bukkit over to github instead. Or perhaps solicit help from all of you to do that so I can focus my time on coding.

As always, development versions can be found on andune.com/jenkins, so you can keep an eye out there for any new versions as I make them available.
