The db2unit logo is a Danta, or as we Colombians call it: Tapir. The logo specifically depicts a Mountain Tapir (Tapirus pinchaque), an animal that lives in the mountains of the north part of South America (Colombia, Equator, Peru and Venezuela).

This animal is in danger of extinction as many other animals in Colombia are. I (Andres) wanted to support them and share the word about this environmental problem.
