None of the previous maintainers of Boxen work at GitHub any more, so I don't feel that any of us have the authority to make such a change to the copyright statement. @MikeMcQuaid thoughts? |

@julienlavergne there are a few of us who still maintain Boxen in our free time, but there is no longer anyone full-time at GitHub doing so any more. To be clear: Boxen is not an abandoned project. It's simply not maintained primarily by GitHub's employees, though GitHub maintains copyright because nobody's thought to change that. |

So can we improve the copyright in the OSS spirit? I ask the question ;) |

@julienlavergne sure, but GitHub's legal crew would need to 👍 it. Despite being a maintainer, neither I nor any of the others active folks here can unilaterally make such a change. That's why I've asked for @MikeMcQuaid to weigh in and see if he's got the time to push for it there. |
