Introduction to Machine Learning for EEB
To run the jupyter notebooks found in the notebooks subdirectory, double click to open the notebook (e.g. palmer_penguin_2species.ipynb) here on github. Once it's opened, go up to the URL where the entire address of the file is located, and change 'github.com' to 'githubtocolab.com'. This will load the notebook into a Google Collab notebook that has all software installed and also logs you into a virtual machine (computer in the cloud) provided by Google. You can even request GPUs, but these are uneccessary for what we'll do! Just click the play buttons to run the code.
