Dyed Wood Sets Added in Pyrite 0.2, Pyrite includes a wood set for each of the vanilla Dyes. These sets include planks, slabs, stairs, crafting tables, fences, fence gates, doors, trapdoors, pressure plates, and buttons.

Other

Framed Glass Added in Pyrite 0.1, Framed Glass is an elegant decorative block that can be used in a variety of builds. A Glass Pane variant is also included.
Torch Levers Added in Pyrite 0.13, Torch Levers can be made out of all Vanilla torches and can be used to discreetly activate redstone devices.
Turf Sets Added in Pyrite 0.11, Grass, Mycelium, Podzol, and Path blocks can be made into Turf, a six-sided block great for terraforming. Slabs, stairs, and carpets are also included.
Wall Gates Added in Pyrite 0.7, every Vanilla Wall block can now be made into a corresponding Wall Gate. Like Fence Gates, but for Walls!
Flowers Added in Pyrite 0.11, a variety of flowers removed from the game were added to Pyrite.

Dyed Blocks

Dyed Lamps Added in Pyrite 0.8, Glowstone Lamps can be dyed into a variety of colours, including all dyes.
Dyed Torches Added in Pyrite 0.14, Torches can be dyed into a variety of colours, including all dyes.
Dyed Framed Glass Added in Pyrite 0.14, Framed Glass can be dyed into a variety of colours, including all dyes.

Consistency Changes

Variant Crafting Tables Added in Pyrite 0.12, Crafting Tables are available in all Vanilla wood types. Default crafting tables have been renamed to Oak Crafting Tables. If you need a Vanilla crafting table for any reason, you can craft variant crafting tables back into vanilla ones.
Iron Crafting Changes Iron Bars and Iron Trapdoors have had their crafting recipes changed to be more consistent with Pyrite's blocks. Bars can be made with Cut Iron, and Trapdoors with Iron Ingots.
Mushroom Stems Vanilla Mushroom Stems have been replaced with Red and Brown Mushroom Stems. Vanilla Mushroom Stems can be crafted with 4 of either colour of Mushroom Stems.
