Strictly following the readme on a fresh Ubuntu 22.04 will not build openmcx as
python
cannot be found.Instead of relying on
python-is-python3
(which is not mentioned in the readme) there is a cmake function to find an installed python interpreter. According to the manual this function was introduced in cmake 3.12 and openmcx already requires > 3.14.I tested this on my fresh 22.04 installation.
