Yes, decode only for now. Still, if you're writing a native app in C/C++ and you'd like a thumbhash effect in your GUI, you might find it useful. Long term, I'd like encoders too (for JPEG, PNG, etc., not just Thumbhash). But supporting more and more formats (even if decode-only) has been prioritized over that. |
