uMod support

Daybreak provides support for uMod, automating the installation, texture management and launching of the tool

Opening uMod view

  1. Expand the Mods section of the menu and open the uMod view

Installing uMod

  1. Open uMod view
  2. Follow the installation steps
  • If you already have uMod installed on your PC, choose 'Yes' and select the path to your uMod installation

  • If you don't already have uMod installed on your PC, choose 'No' and wait for Daybreak to download uMod

Enabling and disabling uMod

  1. Open uMod view

  2. If uMod is not installed, follow the installation steps

  3. Flip the switch in the top-left corner to enable/disable uMod image

  4. If enabled, uMod will be launched when launching Guild Wars through Daybreak

  1. Expand the Settings menu section and open the uMod settings view

uMod guide

  1. Open uMod view

  2. Click on uMod wiki hyperlink to open an embedded browser and redirect to the uMod wiki

uMod mods download

uMod integration can download and manage your uMod textures

  1. Open uMod view

  2. Click on the browser button to open an embedded browser and redirect to the Player-made Modifications page

  1. Navigate to the desired mod and click on the download link

  1. The mod will be downloaded in [Daybreak Installation Folder]/uMod/Mods/[Mod Name]

  1. Navigate back to uMod main view
  • If 'Auto-Enable Mods' setting is enabled in the uMod settings view, Daybreak will auto-enable the mod in the mod list
  • If 'Auto-Enable Mods' is disabled, you will have to manually enable the mod from the mod list

uMod mods import

Daybreak can import already downloaded mods into the mod list. These mods will not be deleted once they are removed from the list.

  1. Open uMod view

  2. Click on Open File button to open a file picker

  1. Select files to import. Daybreak will automatically ignore duplicates

  1. Click on open and manage your newly imported mods

uMod remove mods

  1. Open uMod view

  2. Click on the bin button next to a mod to remove it. If the mod was downloaded through Daybreak, the mod file will also be deleted. If the mod was imported into Daybreak from an existing file, the mod file will not be deleted

uMod save changes

  1. Open uMod view

  2. Click on the Save button to save the changes

GWToolboxd support

Daybreak provides support for GWToolboxd, automating the installation and launching of the tool. Daybreak will always install the latest version of GWToolboxd taken from the Github Releases

  1. Expand the Mods section of the menu and open the GWToolbox view

Installing GWToolbox

  1. Open GWToolbox view
  2. Follow the installation steps
  • If you already have GWToolbox installed on your PC, choose 'Yes' and select the path to your GWToolbox installation

  • If you don't already have GWToolbox installed on your PC, choose 'No' and wait for Daybreak to download GWToolbox

Enabling and disabling GWToolbox

  1. Open GWToolbox view

  2. If GWToolbox is not installed, follow the installation steps

  3. GWToolbox view will tell you if GWToolbox is enabled/disabled. Pressing yes will switch the state from enabled to disabled and vice-versa image

  4. If enabled, GWToolbox will be launched when launching Guild Wars through Daybreak

DSOAL support

Daybreak provides support for DSOAL, automating the installation and launching of the dll. Daybreak retrieves the binaries from Github

Opening DSOAL view

  1. Expand the Mods section of the menu and open the DSOAL view

Installing DSOAL

  1. Open DSOAL view
  2. Daybreak will download and set up the binaries

Enabling and disabling DSOAL

  1. Open DSOAL view

  2. If DSOAL is not installed, follow the installation steps

  3. DSOAL view will tell you if DSOAL is enabled/disabled. Pressing yes will switch the state from enabled to disabled and vice-versa image

  4. If enabled, DSOAL will be launched when launching Guild Wars through Daybreak

ReShade support

Daybreak provides support for ReShade, automating the installation and deployment of the binaries and shader packages. Daybreak automatically manages the ReShade binaries.

Opening ReShade view

  1. Expand the Mods section of the menu and open the DSOAL view

Installing ReShade

  1. Open ReShade view
  2. Daybreak will download and set up the binaries 2.1. If you already have the ReShade installer, you can load it into Daybreak 2.2. If you don't have the ReShade installer, Daybreak will download it and install it automatically

Enabling and disabling ReShade

  1. Open ReShade view

  2. If ReShade is not installed, follow the installation steps

  3. ReShade view will tell you if ReShade is enabled/disabled. Pressing yes will switch the state from enabled to disabled and vice-versa

  1. If enabled, ReShade will be launched when launching Guild Wars through Daybreak

Importing shader packs

Daybreak can import shader packs so that they can be used by ReShade.

  1. Open ReShade View
  2. Click on the 'Import' hyperlink

  1. Select the archive you want to import
  2. Daybreak will show a notification once the import operation is successful

Downloading shader packs

Daybreak can download shader packs so that they can be used by ReShade. Daybreak supports downloading the stock ReShade packs, found at ReShade Shader List

  1. Open ReShade View
  2. Click on the 'Download' hyperlink

  1. Select the package you want to download

  1. Daybreak will show a notification once the import operation is successful

Adjusting ReShade configuration

Daybreak maintains its own copy of the ReShade.ini. You need to adjust this config if you want the changes to go into effect when launching an executable.

  1. Open ReShade View
  2. Click on the 'ReShade.ini' hyperlink

  1. Daybreak will open a text editor with the contents of the config file
  2. Adjust the config and click the Save button

Adjusting ReShade presets

Daybreak maintains its own copy of the ReShadePreset.ini. You need to adjust this presets file if you want the changes to go into effect when launching an executable.

  1. Open ReShade View
  2. Click on the 'ReShadePreset.ini' hyperlink

  2. Adjust the preset and click the Save button

DirectSong support

Daybreak provides support for DirectSong, automating the installation of the music packs and setting up the required dlls. Daybreak retrieves the files from GuildWarsLegacy

  2. Daybreak will download and set up the files

  1. Open DirectSong view

  2. If DirectSong is not installed, follow the installation steps
