As explained by stefant in this comment tbnobody#2153 (reply in thread) we should use type
0x0003
for setting the relative non-persistent limit.I tested this with my HMS-2000 running fw 01.01.12 and it work.
But I am not sure if it makes any difference.
I made sure that i only connected 3 of the 4 inputs to my battery and did set different limits to see what happens.
5%, 100 W -> only 88 W produced
15%, 300 W -> only 180 W produced
17,5%, 350 W -> 340 W produced
...
70%, 1400 W -> 1420 W produced
After playing around with the limits for a while (kind of tried every value between 5 and 100%) I also got 300 W when using a limit of 15%. I don't know why this happened. Magic? Temperature of the inverter?
What I would not agree with is that the limit is based on only 3/4 of the max power of my inverter as it was described by the hoymiles support. It just feels like its random below 17,5%.
