This Solar Power Controller with Auto Power Management (APM) is built around the Raspberry Pi computer. It uses SBFspot to extract Inverter data and also forwards that data to PVoutput for additional data analysis. Appliances may be set for any day(s) of the week with 5 different timer schedules for each appliance and up to 10 appliances may be added. APM works within these schedules and takes advantage of any surplus solar power that is available recalculating every few minutes. It provides both Wifi and Wireless socket switching for targeted appliances such as air conditioners, heaters etc. and for high power appliances such as Water Heaters and Pool Pumps Contactor switching may be used. Appliances with APM set also have a priority number (1-9, 0=No APM) and during the APM time range (settable) this determines the order of calculation for which appliances may be switched on.
