This project describes how to use a Raspberry Pi as a Jamulus client.
It also examines the influence of the Jamulus settings on the transmission quality and how this can be measured. This was first tested with a function generator and an oscilloscope. A device was then developed with which the transmission errors can be measured easily and automatically. Circuit diagrams, layout and software for this device are described and made available.
The documentation is partly in German and partly in English.

I hope that some Jamulus users will find our project helpful and interesting. Therefore I would like to make it generally available.

More information about our project can be found here:

This project describes the possibility of using a Raspberry Pi, which is connected to a microphone and headphones, to make music online with other musicians worldwide via an Internet connection. The open source software Jamulus is used for this purpose.

As part of this project, measurement methods were found to assess the transmission quality. In addition, a measuring device was developed with which the transmission quality can be easily measured.

Sorry if I'm not that familiar with GitHub. I'm still working on it. If I am doing something wrong, I hope someone can help me.

If you're still working on something, until you have something useful to commit, I'd recommend either not raising a pull request at all or raising it in draft.

That was a misunderstanding: The description of our project is completely finished and I would be happy if it is published on the Jamulus site. I just wasn't sure if I had filled in everything correctly here in GitHub.

@StephanBorucki I think the correct place would be to add the project here instead: https://jamulus.io/kb/2022/01/25/Related-Projects.html

Might have a typo:

phyisical distance should be physical distance?

Interesting read!
