I have updated the code slightly to work in 2024. Limitations in Binder usage means that you probably want to download (or clone) the repository, and run it locally. There's an environment.yml file for this, but you just need to have the following installed:
- jupyter
- numpy
- scipy
- matplotlib
- ipywidgets
