Lucas Agatti Pacheco

Hi! I'm Lucas. I'm a Mechanical Engineer with a MSc and currently pursuing a Ph.D., specializing in computational mechanics, numerical methods and software development. I'm interested in scientific computing, software development, data analysis, and AI.

I'm currently working on a Boundary Element program written in Julia to study dynamic soil-structure interaction problems as part of my Ph. D., and I intend to implement the program to solve larger problems on HPC. I'm also interested in applying my knowledge to real-world engineering simulation, data analysis, and backend applications.
