Original image seems outdated (old josm version). Imho the new image makes the point of selecting nodes and lines more clear.
Feel free to express if you do not agree.
I created the same pull request earlier, but apparently something went wrong/ i did something wrong. So this is a new attempt and possibly a duplicate.
