Integration of RBR.ODO
EcoCTD v2.0 release
This is an updated design of the EcoCTD. It includes support for
- A RBRConcerto3++|fast8 (CTD and logger)
- A RBRcoda T.ODO|fast (tau ~ 1 s)
- A WetLABS ECOPuck
This new release includes:
- A re-designed upper tube, with a smaller window for the oxygen sensor to accomodate the smaller form factor of the RBRcoda T.ODO|fast
- A newly designed bracket for that oxygen sensor.
The design still consists in a two-part aluminium tube (TUBE.LOWER_V2.SLDPRT and TUBE.UPPER_V2.SLDPRT) that encloses the three instruments listed above. The tube is designed to attach to an UnderwayCTD mechanical coupling at the top (TOP_END.SLDPRT) to be tethered to a ship-based winch.
Each instruments had corresponding clamps to secure them within the aluminium tube
- The RBRConcerto3++ is secured within the lower tube using two clamps: see CONCERTO_CLAMP.SLDPRT
- The RBRcoda T.ODO|fast is attached using the clamp in ODO_CLAMP_RBR.SLDPRT
- The ECOPuck is secured using a two-part clamp (ECOPUCK_CLAMP_BOTTOM.SLDPRT and ECOPUCK_CLAMP_TOP.SLDPRT)
The two tubes are attached using the union clamp in UNION.SLDPRT.
Finally, two weight collars are attached onto the tubes to weigh the EcoCTD down (see WEIGHT_COLLAR.SLDPRT)
