This Latex/TikZ file generates a picture of the AS topology if generated using the generate_topology.py script. All parameters are configurable.

The zones are arranged in a star around the central IXP. Parameters that can be configured:

  • Number of zones and student-managed ASes per zone
  • AS number of the first IXP
  • The distance of the zones and the IXPs from the center IXP, as well as the overall ortation.
  • if Stub-Hijacks is enabled.
  • Colors / styles
  • Whether to have a transparent background or not (will add a white background to the legend)

The provided Makefile automatically converts the .pdf to a .png.
