After merge, we should add ourselves to the GitVote Adopters file.

Would there be circumstances where other profiles may be desirable, such as allowing maintainers of a repo to have a binding vote? Or to allow the community to weigh in on an issue for a particular repo, say compliance-trestle, where all votes are non-binding to get a sense of opinion. I suppose profiles as such can be added if the situation arises.

Agreed, we may think of other profiles. For now, I just stuck to the two use cases we have documented in the GOVERNANCE.md.

This was discussed and consensus was reached at the Oversight Committee meeting today to go ahead with this solution.
