I made this simple MicroPython that displays day-ahead electricity spot market prices for Denmark/East for the coming day or two (spot prices for the next day is available ca 13:00)
It updates once an hour so should be very energy-efficient.
I think it is a great example for the badger 2040W. Now I always can just have a quick look at it before deciding when to start the dishwasher or washing machine.
It only shows prices for DK, but here are similar API's to many other markets.
