I spent an evening nonetheless seeing if I could figure out the codebase enough to load/store Z-offset . This builds. It's completely untested since I haven't braved breaking the warranty notch off my mainboard yet - not sure I will for a feature I feel strongly that Prusa should implement on their own but I digress.
