True positive

A frame is defined as true positive if one or more of the following expressions are TRUE

(a) one of the present dashed lines are highlighted with a black line

(b) the right solid line is present and a part of it is highlighted.

(c) the left solid line is present and a part of it is highlighted.

True negative

A frame is defined as true negative if at least one marking is present and it is not highlighted.

False positive

A frame is defined as false positive if there is no lane marking present on any side of the car but something is highlighted by the algorithm.

False negative

A frame is defined as false negative if there are no lanemarkings and there is nothing highlighted.
