impact task

Definition

A type of opportunity that is listed on the Yoma platform and which has positive environmental or social benefits to the communities in which Yoma operates.

Purpose

Distinguish a type of opportunity so that different rights, duties and incentives can apply. Impact tasks may be rewarded with different types of token which relate to environmental or social impact markets, for example carbon credits.

Criterion

An opportunity that has positive environmental or social benefits to the community around an individual youth participant as well as to the individual themselves.

• Planting trees
• Monitoring or recording wildlife
• collecting plastic or litter
• running a community sports event
