  1. Fedora 41 is not stable enough and pinning to sha does not work. The new image update will replace the old one. The old one will not exit anymore. That cause the failure like https://github.com/virt-s1/bootc-workflow-test/actions/runs/8041524075/job/21960891041#step:2:19. Let's keep stable version Fedora 39.
  2. The sclorg/testing-farm-as-github-action v2 does not work with current tmt configuration. That caused some tests failed, like http://artifacts.osci.redhat.com/testing-farm/5b5a051e-4a7e-4d09-bc0e-ab12aea8a024/. The README still uses v1 and no v2 doc. We should keep v1 until v2 has doc supported.

@lmilbaum, Do you know how to configure the renovate to avoid those two updates? Thanks.

Apologies for the late reply.

  1. I'm working on find the proper renovate configuration which will bump fedora to the latest supported version. It is almost ready. Here is where I do my tests - https://github.com/platform-engineering-org-test/renovate_test_2
  2. Thanks for the clarification. I'd suggest to adopt the long semver format just for those kind of use cases. For example: v1.3.1 instead of v1.

@lmilbaum It's not urgent. Just keep on your priority things.
We'll keep v1 until issue sclorg/testing-farm-as-github-action#130 got fixed. And we'll have a new release which has this fix this week1.
