This creates a merging conflict with #46. However, I did not want to push this change directly to that branch as the changes are unrelated; that pull request must address only one issue, which is replacing Travis with GitHub Actions. |

There are no breaking changes with PHP 8.3. Yet, it would be great to directly address that PHP 8.3 is supported and also build against it to really make sure there are no issues.
