Welcome to the OpenPV wiki!

PetaVision is an open source, object oriented neural simulation toolbox optimized for high-performance multi-core, multi-node computer architectures. PetaVision works well on the cloud and you can start an instance on AWS and be up and running in minutes by searching for our Public AMI PetaVision_AMI.

To install PetaVision on your machine, use one of the following instructions for your set-up: - AWS Installation - OSX Installation - Ubuntu Installation

Once you have a running instance hop over to our V1_LCA Tutorial to play with some data and get a feel for how to train a network with PetaVision.
